Washing hands is the most effective way to maintain good hygiene levels and help protect us from getting sick. It’s not always easy to wash our hands. Sometimes we forget, we don’t have enough time or we just don’t want to! Microbes can spread quickly, particularly in places where many people come together, including schools. Learning how, when and why to wash hands properly is an important step for any child, now more than ever before.

Use the activities within lessons, or even set them as homework tasks. They’re best when colour printed, but can work in black and white too.
